CM k. Chandrasekhar Rao announces the postponement of SSC exams across the state. The postponement of SSC exams to avoid the confusion of the conduct of exams at different Dates in state. As the court was waiting for the state government decision regarding the postponement of exams in ghmc limits later on today the state education minister Sabita indra reddy announces the postponement of exams across the state. And the education minister said that will try to come up with a decision to conduct the exams under taking necessary precautionary steps.

The Telangana High court directed the government of Telangana not to conduct the SSC exams in GHMC limits.
The court made it clear that the Hyderabad, Rangareddy and secunderabad are presently covid19 hotspots and can't allow the students to appear for their academic exams. the rest of the state can conduct the exams as per taking the necessary precautions.
On Saturday,
Chitra Ramachandranthe special chief secretary education, informed the court that students who are not able to appear for the SSC exams due to Covid-19 situation will be allowed to appear for the advanced supplementary examination, which will be held at later date, depending on the prevailing situation. She said that such students will be considered and treated as regular candidates, as a special case for this year alone.
Based on the high court's order, the SSC exams were postponed after students appeared for first and second language exams in March. The remaining SSC exams are scheduled to be conducted between June 8 and July 5. Over five lakh students will be appearing for these exams in the state.
