Bharti Airtel & Vodafone-Idea lost 47 lakh subscribers each while Jio adds 36 Lakh new.

This year in may Bharti Airtel and Vodafone-Idea has lost valued amount of subscribers each, proportionally reliance jio and state owned telecom network BSNL has gained a remarkable increase in subscribers base.

Bharti Airtel Ltd and Vodafone-Idea Ltd lost valuable amount of subscribers base with Airtel loosing 47.428 and Vodafone-Idea loosing 47.263 each in the month of May collectively both looses 94 lakh subscribers in a month while on a quick base Jio adds 36.577 lakhs new subscribers and BSNL gained a markable scale increase of 2.015 lakhs new subscribers. With these now Reliance Jio infocomm Pvt Ltd share 34.33 percent of country's telecom market. this recorded data was shared by TRAI on Wednesday as the data presented by TRAI shows the  chart of subscribers base of the telecommunication operators. 

With the sudden lockdown events the network users were greatly impacted from 114.952 crores at the end of April to 114.391 crores at the end of May. 

TRAI's latest telecom data suggests that total wireless subscribers saw a decree of 0.561 crore while sudden immigration of workers, employees and other professionals from urban areas to rural areas.

Coming to broadband network, the number of subscribers base increased from 67.614 crores at the end of April and 68.377 crores at the end of May, showing a monthly significant growth rate of 1.13%

In wireless sector, Jio tops with 39.275 crore subscribers, Airtel comes after with 14.355 crore subscribers, and Vodafone Idea with 11.305 crore subscribers.

In wired sector, BSNL enjoys the top spot with 24.1 lakh subscribers, along side Atria Convergence Technologies has 16.4 lakh subscribers, while the Hathway and Jio enjoy 9.7 lakh subscribers each.
