Whatsapp update Adds Messenger room video call support feature and animated stickers.

Facebook owned company WhatsApp has announced its latest update on 27-july for both Android and desktop users. as it comes up with its new features and group video add on feature as said the Messenger room call is limited to 50 participants at a time the host become capable to lock the room and schedule the meet and providing the case to participants through link.

A few months ago Facebook introduced group video calling feature on its messaging platform called messenger and it allows the participants to join a group meet conference due to lockdown to contain the spread of covid19 and now Facebook aims to take on the other online video conference platforms like zoom, skype and Google meet as these were at huge demand at the initial stage of lockdown period with the introduction of group video call feature in whatsapp messaging application Facebook tends to stage on the online video conferencing platforms.

Whatsapp now supports the animated stickers and is available on the sticker store and Added support for QR codes so you can quickly add contacts and businesses without typing in a phone number. Tap the 'QR' icon in Settings to get started.

Steps to add on new features:

You must first update the WhatsApp Web to the latest Version 2.2031.4. There are two ways to create a Room, first but clicking on the three dots on the top left corner of the screen and then tap on Create a Room.

On clicking the option the screen will show an introduction page for Facebook with a pop up message of continue with Messenger click on “Continue with Messenger” option.

Another page will appear showing the “Continue with Facebook account” option click on continue. There’s also an option to switch accounts in case you wish to create a Room using a different account.

Then next send link on WhatsApp group and can end the created room shortly by a single tap on top right corner of 'end room'.

As the room meeting is done on messanger whatsapp doesn't has direct access to messenger video call as it helps in creating an instant meet via Facebook messanger and the video conferences are end to end encrypted.
